About
This Portal
Running on desktop & smartphone Web browsers and powered by Nature·Atlas, this virtual portal to the University of Bridgeport Medical Herbarium provides Web-based access to the data and images associated with the Herbarium’s collections comprised primarily of plants species with current or historical medicinal uses. The virtual portal was created in 2022 by Herbarium Curator Dr. Meghan Gonick in collaboration with the James C. Parks Herbarium, Millersville University.

Compatibility

NatureAtlas 3.0 (5 Jan 2021) works with all browser versions dated 2020 or later, but stay away from older browsers - especially, Internet Explorer. Apple Safari will work fine, but the autosuggest list functions in the search pane do not populate because Safari does not implement the datalist function of HTML5.
