Chaetognatha is composed entirely of marine species which are usually planktonic. Chaetognaths, or arrow worms, have a long gelatinous body with lateral fins and tail fins, and have spines around their mouth to grasp prey, usually copepods.
Common species in these waters are Parasagitta elegans and Flaccisagitta enflata.
